Hi Trevor,

Please find the attached photos that were taken on Sunday the 20th, unfortunately the batteries were flat and could not take more. Note that we always handle our catches with care and release them as soon as possible after unhooking and a quick photo of the bigger ones. Here are some examples of the fish that my girlfriend and I caught. Next time I will remember the unhooking mat to prevent sand from sticking to the fish.

We had a wonderful weekend's fishing at SOV. We go at least every second weekend and catch average sizes of 1KG - 2KG's. This past weekend, we were catching anything from 1KG - 7KG's. It seems that the absence of the smaller grass carp is allowing the bigger fish the chance to get to the bait. Depth did not play a role as they were all over.

The two guys next to us, belonging to the visiting club from Boksburg were relieved to hear that we were not competing against them.
