                    LTB UPDATE.
 
Records will show we’re coming through one of  the coldest Winters in recent times. Though the Bassmasters speak of a water temperature of 18 degrees at Loskop Dam, we’re down to 8 degrees.

Summer is coming, and to get us on the road [ or water ], an open day for RPA members will be held at SOV on Saturday 18 August. It will consist of a teaching, demonstration and practice session, and all who have an interest are welcome, boat or no.

We will start from 9h30 and interrupt the day with an impromptu bring and braai at the Clubhouse at 13h30. This will be combined with a meeting/discussion with the following points:-

1. Introduction to this facet of new boats and members, plus teaching needs and boat requirements.
2. Competition rules and points system.
3. Setting of competition dates and  other events for the period September to December.
4. The need for support for and unity with other facets of the RPA.
