The biggest open cesspit at the moment.

Sometime back some "experts came up with substantial overseas funding based
on a stupid conclusion that carp were the cause of the eutrophication
problem in this dam and that the only way to overcome the problem was to get
rid of the carp, spray the dam with copper sulphate and that all residents
residing on the side of the dam should grow water lilies.

This site debunked the scheme as completely stupid.

Since then nothing has changed and one wonders what has happened to all the
money.

The rate the algae is thickening it could be used as a soccer field for the
210 world cup,( if it ever happens in this country.

The "go nowhere train could also be diverted for overseas tourists to
witness first hand how ignorant the authorities are of "the staff of life"

Being positive someone may persuade others about a new sport called "fishing
for turds.

Could the relevant authorities apply to have it declared as a "RAMSAR" international heritage site, as an example of South African incompetence
