Good day all

I recently added quite a few new galleries to the website, and thought that some of them may interest you.  I personally fished Gubu this past weekend and we had some great sport fishing.  There are “Happy Fish” everywhere.  I can say, with conviction, that the fishing at Gubu within the next year will be nothing less than exceptional.

Once those fry grow to yearlings and the current yearlings grow-out, we are going to have brilliant fishing at Gubu Dam!  Already the 1kg+ fish are giving one a good run, even on a five weight.

Our next stocking will be coming up within the next couple of weeks, so please don’t hesitate to volunteer if you’re keen to get involved!

Back to the website update:  some great fishing has also been experienced elsewhere in the Eastern Cape – namely Thrift. There were over 50 rainbows caught there this past weekend as well as a brown with the following bio:

Weight : 10.25lb
gurth : 43cm
length : 69cm

Pictures of this fish as well as the fish caught at Gubu are in the gallery section of the site.   www.ratherbeflyfishing.co.za <http://www.ratherbeflyfishing.co.za>

Hope that all is going well and that you are all able to fish more regularly than I can.  Have a good day.

Regards
Jason
