Good day to all of you
It is a particularly good day today, as we have a landmark gain for the club with the news that we have an extra 25% to spend on fish for this year's stocking. This is as a result of good fishing and increased membership, and also due to the excellent food source from Gubu dam that is allowing our fish to grow tremendously.
Other good news, is that the Annual General Meeting will be held on 30 September 2006, and to encourage a greater turnout, we are considering having a prize draw after a fishing event at the dam, on the same day. Please forward any other suggestions, as we would like to see greater support at the AGM and need constructive ideas to increase attendance.
Furthermore, membership applications and renewals will now be handled by Postnet Vincent (043 726 9990), which places better availability and time guidelines for membership apps, and also centralizes the service, making the process simpler hopefully. Please allow a week to pass before contacting them for this service, as we are still setting it up.
