Hi,

Over the past few days the monsoon has changed and the marlin have started appearing. On 29th KAMARA II had a triple header of striped marlin hooking up with all three and tagging two of them. Unfortunately we lost the third fish when the line popped after about 10 minutes. This pack rose initially to a small "Legend Lure" made by Roddy Hays with all three fish coming right in to the wake, a wonderful sight. We saw one other marlin finning and had a strike from a fifth. The following day BROADBILL lost a stripey on a 30 that came un hooked after a few minutes.

The sea is a fantastic colour and the rips are showing. There are also more than normal sailfish along the drop off by Funzi with big packs being seen most days. Both BROADBILL and KAMARA II will be taking part in the Tanga Open Fishing Competition this weekend.

KAMARA 1 is still available for charter before Christmas and there is plenty of availability for all boats between Christmas and New Year. After New Year we still have availability in January and there is limited availability in February. The omens are good for a really good billfish season so why not give us a call and make a reservation.
