Herewith the Rules of the Tournament.
 
The Bloemhofdam Bonanza is scheduled for 28-30 April 2006 at Sandveld and Northwest Bloemhof Dam. It is a back-to-back event, starting of Friday with the Tight Lines Teams event and Saterday to Sunday the individual's Spar Bonanza. The total Prizes amounts R350 000 with a first prize of R50 000 sponsosred by Exel. The Teams event is open for all participants at the Bonanza and a team consists of a max of 4 anglers weighing their bag of 4 carps only. The target fish species for the Spar Bonanza is carp, barbel and mudfish and the winners will be determined according to the Eco-Care Fishing Table. The angler with the most points for a single fish wins the first prize. The Bloemhofdam Bonanza is a shore and boat angling tournament with prizes for boat and shore anglers respectively. A mass meeting regarding water pollution and fish kills will be held before the prize-giving on Sunday.
