VIVTEK TAKES ON EUROPE AND BRINGS HOME THE AWARDS
Knysna company does it again. At the European Fishing tackle Trade Exhibition 2004 in London, where 67 countries attended Vivtek was runner up for the best new product of the year beaten by only three votes it was very close, not bad for CX and South Africa.. The product the ŒWEIGHMASTER‚ a landing net combo is quality at it‚s best.
Vivtek has really done Knysna and South Africa proud in the last three years winning at the first annuals awards held by the department of Trade and Industry, 3rd place for manufacturing excellence and 2nd place for export achievement, also won the best quality award in Las Vegas and again nominated in Milan, a company that had small beginnings is now showing signs of becoming a world leader already exporting to Australia, UK, France, Italy, Sweden, Portugal, Canada, Germany to name a few. Congratulations all who took part in the rebuilding of VIVTEK ˆ Viv, Astrid, his brother Moss, his son Malcolm, daughter in-law Charmaine and of course most important of all his loyal staff.
